And this wasn't exactly a hostile takeover either. Rather, BMW is looking to expand the company, purchase more carbon fiber, and even create some new jobs along the way.

The answer to all three of this goals can be found in the new SGL Carbon SE plant that BMW helped construct in Washington State. It's there that new jobs have been created, more carbon fiber is being produced, and where the company is flourishing like never before. In other words, if this move sounds like a win-win for everyone involved, that's because it is.
